I
am Legend, directed by Francis Lawrence, is a thriller based on the novel of the same name written by Richard Matheson. It was made in 2007.
The
film is set in a post-apocalyptic New York, where Robert Neville
(played by Will Smith), a marine virologist, lives with his dog Sam.
He's one of the last survivors of an epidemic that hit all over the
world and transformed people and animals in zombies. He has a
laboratory where he works everyday to find a cure for the infected.
Will Robert find it and save the world?
This
film is very entertaining and it has a lot of scary and moving
scenes. The acting is excellent: Will Smith, the star of the film,
made one of his best performances. The zombies are well made and they
are a little scary. The soundtrack is a little poor, but it's perfect
for this post-apocalyptic environment.
I
really loved this film. I would highly recommend it to everyone
because it's full of moving and impressive scenes. But there are some
jump scares too. So, if you don't like horror films, I think it's not
the film that you should watch.
